Long week end forecast
If your looking at the Sucia Raft-up, your mainly looking at a Sunny Friday, partially clouded Sat/Sun, and a rainy Monday.
for Indian arm, we are looking at a Sunny Friday, moving into Rain, Rain, Rain from Saturday onward. Not the other site states we will have sun with partial clouds on Sat/Sun and definite rain on Monday.
Knowing this, the best accurate information is stick your head out of the hatch... head gets wet... its raining. If you have to reach back and find your sunglasses and sun screen its sunny, if you need a sweater,or just want to curl back into bed its cloudy and cold

Well windchime here is another, we were crossing over from the Marina making our way to Misses Sunshines dock, when Cathy spotted a sea lion at play, jumping up and splashing. As I missed the excitement while navigating, we kept our focus on the area not realizing how much time had passes and we where at our friends dock.

Sailing Dudes,
It is moments and days like the one you had on Wednesday that everything seems right with the world. These encounters with nature and all it's wonders reward us for the time we spend on the ocean, and help to remind us that there are bigger things in life that just our day to day living. It's funny how the sight of any amazing sea creature in it's natural home can fill our hearts with so much excitement, and wash away the stress of the day. Thanks for sharing! I was supposed to be out on the water today, but life got in the way and I was feeling a little miffed about it ... I feel better having read your post.
bullet Sailing Dudes on Sunday 29 August 2010 - 09:08:23
On our way back from Bowen Island last Wednesday in fair winds doing 4kt with main only on broad reach, as we were just rounding Point giving it a wide berth we saw a single porpoise swiming out of English Bay. Even at the risk to sound like our commodore (cheers Darry), I had to report this sighting. We had the boat in groove and decided not to pursue it but to continue sailing in what turned to be the perfect sailing conditions.

I carry with me aDanforth, and a Plow/bruce called a Delta fast set. My peace of mind though is chain 35' of 5/8" .
If my danfort can't set and hold, I switch.
bullet Brioso on Sunday 22 August 2010 - 11:59:08
Another question: we are bringing our 26M to the coast this Fall and plan to cruise the Sunshine Coast. Just wondering what the preferred anchor is for this area. Danforth 14-16 lbs is what we're thinking.
