Debbie and I have saved our pennies and are getting a full enclosure for Mor Cenau by Specialty Canvas in Kelowna. We were asked what height should the bimini top be, but I am not sure. So I put it to my fellow members what height should a bimini be so that one does not continually stoop when in the cockpit? Mor Cenau is a 26M, if that makes a difference.
It depends if you have the bimini up when you are sailing or motoring. I have to remove mine ( on a 26M) when sailing. because the boom would rub on the bimini top. If the bimini is installed I still have to bend down to enter the cabin.

We organize on and off the water activities for owners of Macgregor and Tattoo boats; regattas, cruises, flotillas and our annual all member get together ‘MacRendezvous’. Members share tips, ideas, and hard-come-by knowledge about how to maximize the joy of owning these wonderfully affordable boats.
