Yes, I know it’s cutting it close. Tongue is rated for 400. Since the trailer is only rated for 3500, I don’t travel with much of anything in the boat anyway. We only trailer it a couple times a year to and from the marina, so we don’t need to have the boat loaded up with anything. Daily driving a full size truck just for that was pointless. It won’t work for everyone, especially if you are outfitted for extended cruising or have a big 4-stroke. But it meets our needs as a fuel efficient daily that can still pull the boat occasionally when needed.

We had it up to 85kmh with no trouble. Rated to tow up to 4000lbs.

Hello! That is a 2 stroke engine, right? If it was me I would put a new water pump impeller in for sure, no telling how old the one in it is and when it might self destruct. Other than that I would change the leg oil and sparkplugs and then go have fun!

Sorry didn’t make it to the boat today, but that is exactly like ours. Behind the boot there is clear vinyl tubing around the cables and wiring to keep them from chafing on the fiberglass. Hopefully that makes sense.

On our X, the cables and wiring are inside of a clear vinyl hose to prevent chafing, and is then covered with a split boot. Will take pic tomorrow.
