We bought our first Macgregor 26X in 2001, then a few years later we purchased a 26M. In 2007 we sold the 26M and purchased a 1999 Hunter 340, our first keel boat! We had this for 2 years and then purchased our boat for offshore, it was a 2009 Hunter 41 Deck salon, we spent the next couple of years outfitting the boat for our offshore voyage. In August of 2011 we untied the lines and off we went heading south. We had a crew of 6 from Point Roberts to San Francisco. Peter and Lydia (club members) joined us in San Diego and crewed with us to Cabo San Lucas. We spent time in Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and the San Blas Island on the Caribbean side. In 2013 we shipped the boat back home from Costa Rica. We sold the boat a couple of years ago and bought a 26M, traded that for a 2009 Hunter 27 Edge which we now have in Penticton.
